OUDENIC Refund Policy

1. Overview

This Refund Policy governs all purchases of eSIM data plans made through oudenic.com (the "Platform"). By completing a purchase, you agree to the terms below.

OUDENIC provides prepaid, digital eSIM data plans. Due to the nature of digital telecommunications products, refund eligibility depends on the provisioning state of your eSIM profile at the time of your request.


2. Refund Eligibility

"Provisioned" means the eSIM profile has been downloaded and installed on a device. Once provisioning occurs, network resources are allocated and generally cannot be recovered.


3. How to Request a Refund

  1. Log into your account at oudenic.com
  2. Navigate to Support and create a new ticket
  3. Select the "Billing" category
  4. Include your Order ID and reason for the refund request

Our team will review your request and respond within 48 business hours.

Do not initiate a chargeback with your bank before contacting us. See Section 6 for our chargeback policy.


4. Refund Processing

  • All refunds are processed through the original payment method
  • Refunds typically appear within 5 to 10 business days, depending on your financial institution
  • Refunds are issued in the original transaction currency (USD)
  • If applicable taxes were collected, the tax portion will be included in the refund
  • EU consumers: Under EU Directive 2011/83/EU, you acknowledge that eSIM provisioning begins immediately upon purchase and consent to waive the 14-day withdrawal right for provisioned profiles

5. Actions Upon Refund Approval

When a refund is approved:

  1. All eSIM profiles associated with the refunded order are immediately suspended
  2. The order status is updated and a full audit trail is recorded
  3. The refund is processed to your original payment method

6. Chargeback Policy

IMPORTANT: Unauthorized chargebacks trigger immediate and automated countermeasures.

If you believe a charge is incorrect, you must contact us through our support system before initiating a chargeback with your bank or card issuer.

Consequences of Unauthorized Chargebacks

When a chargeback is initiated without prior resolution through our support channel, the following actions are taken automatically:

  1. eSIM Revocation — All eSIM profiles on the disputed order are permanently suspended
  2. Account Suspension — Your account is permanently deactivated and blocked from future registration
  3. Evidence Submission — We compile and submit comprehensive transaction records to the payment processor to contest the dispute, including order details, delivery confirmation, and terms acceptance records

Accounts suspended due to chargebacks cannot be reinstated. The associated email address is permanently blocked from creating new accounts, and any active plans are forfeited.


7. Non-Refundable Situations

The following are explicitly non-refundable:

  • eSIM plans where data has been consumed, even partially
  • Plans that have expired beyond their validity period
  • Service disruptions caused by device incompatibility
  • Network coverage limitations in specific geographic areas
  • Loss, theft, or damage of the device containing the eSIM
  • Failure to activate the eSIM within the validity window

8. Subscriptions

For subscription-based plans (e.g., Monthly Plans):

  • Subscription fees are non-refundable once the billing cycle has started and the plan is provisioned.
  • If you cancel your subscription, the cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. You will not receive a refund for the remaining days in the cycle, but you can continue to use the service until the cycle ends.
  • The same refund eligibility criteria (Section 2) apply to the initial purchase of a subscription (e.g., an unprovisioned initial profile is fully refundable).

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Refund Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last Updated" date and are effective immediately upon publication.

For material changes, we will provide at least 14 days' advance notice via email.
