⚠️ Crucial Warnings Before Installation

  • Requires Wi-Fi: You MUST have a stable Wi-Fi connection to download and install the eSIM. Do not attempt to scan the QR code without internet access.
  • NEVER Delete: A QR code can only be scanned once. If you delete your eSIM profile, it is permanently destroyed and cannot be recovered or refunded.

Installation Instructions

Apple iPhone

  1. Fastest Way: 1‑Click Install
    If you are viewing your eSIM Console on your iPhone, simply tap the black 1‑Click Install button. Your iPhone will automatically open the setup screen!
  2. Or install via QR Code:
  3. Open Settings: Go to Settings and tap Cellular.
  4. Add eSIM: Tap Add eSIM or Add Cellular Plan.
  5. Scan QR Code: Select "Use QR Code" and scan.
  6. Activate Service: Follow the prompts and ensure Data Roaming is ON.

Android Device

  1. Open Settings: Go to Settings > Network & Internet.
  2. Add Network: Tap the + icon next to Mobile network.
  3. Download eSIM: Select "Download a SIM instead?" and scan.
  4. Activate Service: Turn on the eSIM and verify Data Roaming is ON.

When will I receive my eSIM?

Instantly. Your QR code and installation details are delivered immediately after payment, both on-screen and via email.

When should I install my eSIM?

We recommend installing your eSIM before you travel, while you have a stable Wi-Fi connection. Most plans only activate and start counting days once you connect to the supported network at your destination, so early installation won't waste your plan.

Can I keep my original phone number?

Yes. The eSIM works as a separate data plan. You can use both your physical SIM and eSIM simultaneously, and your original number stays unchanged.

Does this eSIM come with a phone number for calls and texts?

Our travel eSIMs are data-only plans and do not include a phone number for traditional calls or texts. You can seamlessly use VoIP apps like WhatsApp, LINE, WeChat, FaceTime, and Skype for communication.

Can I share my data via Mobile Hotspot?

Yes! Our plans support mobile hotspot (tethering), allowing you to share your internet connection with travel companions or your laptop.

Can I delete and reinstall my eSIM?

NO. A QR code can typically only be scanned once. If you delete your eSIM, the plan will be permanently lost and cannot be recovered. If you experience connection issues, try toggling Airplane Mode, restarting your phone, or checking your Data Roaming settings, but never delete the eSIM.

What if I arrive and have no internet connection?

First, ensure the eSIM is turned ON in your cellular settings. Second, make sure your default line for Mobile Data is set to the eSIM. Most importantly, ensure "Data Roaming" is toggled ON for the eSIM. If it still doesn't work, check your email instructions for manual APN settings.

What happens when my data runs out?

Your service continues until the validity period ends, even if data is exhausted. You can easily purchase a new plan to continue.

Can I use an eSIM inside Mainland China? / 我可以在中國內地使用 eSIM 嗎?

Yes! You can purchase and use our eSIM data plans for Mainland China. However, you must first ensure your device has eSIM hardware. Most smartphones manufactured for the Mainland China market (including iPhones and domestic brands) only have physical SIM slots. If you purchased your phone outside of China, it likely supports eSIM. To be certain, dial *#06# on your phone. What do product tags like "IP:SG" or "Non-hkip" mean?

These tags indicate how your internet traffic is routed and what IP address you will receive:
  • IP:SG / IP:UK: This indicates the server location. For example, "IP:SG" means your traffic routes through Singapore, giving you a Singapore IP address. This helps bypass local internet firewalls.
  • Non-hkip: This means the IP address is NOT from Hong Kong. This is crucial for accessing certain apps like TikTok, which are currently restricted on both Mainland China and Hong Kong networks.

Can I use TikTok, ChatGPT, or Gemini with this eSIM? / 我可以使用 TikTok、ChatGPT 或 Gemini 嗎?

Yes, you can! Access to AI platforms (like ChatGPT and Gemini) and certain social apps (like TikTok) depends on the IP routing of the eSIM. Since these services restrict access from Hong Kong and Mainland China IPs, you simply need to choose an eSIM with a "Non-hkip" tag or a foreign routing tag (such as "IP:SG" or "IP:UK").
